Maritime Protection Maritime Security Piracy is on the increase globally, not only in historically traditional high risk waterways but is developing off the shores of many economically under developed and politically unstable regions. TITAN is heavily involved with maritime security services since its inception. Our maritime security specialists have been actively executing maritime escorts for an even longer period. Our methods and tactics are based on actual operational experience in high risk transit areas such as the Gulf of Aden, the Strait of Hormuz and Al-Faw Peninsula, the Malacca and Singapore Straits as well as Lagos and Bonny River. Equipment utilized is robust and simple to use but highly effective and cost permissive. Any installation and fabrication of defensive measures, is constructed and fitted so the vessel may have the option to remove and store for future use and with no conflict of ISPS codes. Unlike most companies, we pay particular attention to preparation and provide counter-piracy training to the entire crew of each vessel. We believe the transfer of skills and knowledge to an entire crew, along with the assistance and guidance of maritime security specialists during high risk transit, drastically reduces the level of risk and increases vessel’s crisis management capabilities.
